Assignment#2

My communication skills depend on the person that I may be talking to. What I mean when I say it depends on the person I may talk to is, I may talk to my my friends a different way than I may talk to my mom. I may talk to my Friends in slang and talk to my mom with manners.But I do need to improve on my communication skills though. For example when my teachers or any adults talk to me I should use eye contact. The reason I should use eye contact is because its a major part in communication to look into the person eyes to see if you got an understanding of what you may be communicating about.


Journal:I use all my communication skills at my service learning all the time.I also use my manners I may say Mame or no Mame but I use my manners.In this perfection they love to communicate with each other lets say its a place to go and have girl talk come on now you know men talk in the barber shops like woman talk in hair salons.At the golden comb they love to communicate . I have a positive experience every time I go.

week 9 Attitudes

My attitude goes by how i feel that day. Most of the time i act negative towards situations in my life. But only if it's something good i act positive towards my situation. An example of negative was when some one dose something that i really don't like i tend to become mad and become a very negative person with a negative ugly attitude. A example of a positive situation in my life is my daddy when I'm around him everything is okay I'm a happy camper the whole time that's a moment you will always see me happy.

At my service learning i always display a positive and happy attitude. I keep a smile do what is asked of me and help if i can. Maybe a keep this positive attitude when I'm there because of the enjoyment I'm in. One reason i love being there and this is my example of enjoyment: I get my hair done every week i go that gives me a big enjoyment.

Attitudes of others when they are around me sometimes make my attitude change because of the way they may say things or talk to me i cant stand to be upset or in a bad mood i wish i could be happy all the time and to be happy all the time you have to be drama and pep talk free.

Journal:
Same o Same o I had a good day at my intern.This week I based and washed someones hair. Based is what you do before you perm or put a relaxer in someones hair. base also helps your scalp not to burn when you get a perm or relaxer.Cant wait to see what I am going to do next week.

Journal: I haven't started my service learning yet. Though i haven't started my service learning yet I am very excited to start. I wonder what i will be doing when I start at my service learning.I have some good news though I hopefully start at The Golden Comb somewhere where I will be comfortable.
